It's time to saddle up and mozy on over to Texas!  We're heading off to San Antonio next week (April 11-14) for the NSTA 2013 National Conference.  And to celebrate the conference theme of Next Generation Science: Learning, Literacy and Living, we'll be giving away a full size 3B Scientific skeleton to one lucky winner!

Ken, Alison & Colin, from our team here in Atlanta, will be heading off to the NSTA conference and will be accompanying Stan Skeleton at our Booth #1006 with lots of great hands-on science equipment for you to see and try out.  Make sure you enter the competition to have a chance of winning Stan!

Stan is a classic human skeleton model who normally retails at $329.00.  He stands 5 foot on a roller stand and comprises 200 life-size bones.  He has a 3-part mounted skull and individually inserted teeth as well as limbs that are quick and easy to remove.  Stan also comes with a stand and skeleton dust cover included.  Imagine what your students would say if Stan were to join them in your science class!

As usual we'll be listening out for all your Tweets; just use the hashtag #nsta13 if you're at the conference.  Of course, we'd really like you to come over and say hi and tag us in your conference photos on Facebook so we can give you and your colleagues a shout out too!

There will be plenty to see and do at the NSTA Conference, as many of you will know if you've been a past attendee.

Included in the conference schedule this year are:

  • Bringing Outdoor Science into Your Classroom
  • Creating Integrated STEM Programs
  • It's Not JUST Science: Integration Across the Elementary Curriculum
  • Using Cognitive Science to Improve Science Learning in Earth Science
  • Introducing Simple Machines into the Elementary Classroom with LEGO® Bricks
  • Nanotechnology in the STEM Curriculum
  • Magical Illusions for K-9 Teachers

..but there's so much more!

3B Scientific believes science changes everything, and we proudly provide high-quality products, services and support to anyone that teaches, works in, or loves the sciences.  Our products cover the areas of anatomy, biology, chemistry, medical education, physics and therapy.

What challenges are you facing today in the science classroom?  Where is STEM headed and what will the future of Science Education look like?  We're really looking forward to some animated debates and discussion with y'all – come over to Booth #1006 April 11-14 and say howdy for a warm welcom from Ken, Alison & Colin .. and make sure you ask them how to enter our Life-size Human Skeleton Competition!
